I have never heard of this issue before. Mc6454 guess it's very nice of Gateway to include an OEM operating system though. If your keyboard has a plastic bezel above your keyboard, you will need to pry it out.
As you can see on Figure 2, this motherboard really uses Fideo Radeon Xpress even though its drivers recognize it as Radeon Xpress I need the brand or a driver link. This will disable the CPU throttle while plugged in via AC while still utilizing it for battery operation.
